DESCRIPTION:\nThe Belfast May Day march is a red letter day in the socialist and labour movement calander.\n\n\n\nThis year it provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate and march shoulder to shoulder with all those who have been taking industrial action in the face of declining standards of living, erosion of wages and conditions and the running down of public services in the interests of privitisation and obscene profits.\n\n\n\nMick Lynch (National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers), who has been giving outstanding leadership to his own membership and to the wider trade union movement, will address the rally along side local trade unionists who will be urging support for the “Workers Demand Better” campaign with its core demand for “rebalancing power and wealth in the interest of working people and their families”.\n\n\n\nCelebrate May Day with RMT’s Jack Lynch and other NIC-ICTU trade union speakers.\n\n\n\nMarch and rally 12 noon Saturday 29th April 2023 at Writers’ Square Belfast.\n
