National Demonstration For Palestine
To protest the Irish government’s absolute refusal to hold Israel accountable for a genocide in which the Apartheid state has slaughtered more than 52,000 Palestinians, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign, supported by over 150 Irish civil society organisations, has called another National Demonstration for Palestine Saturday 17th May.
The march will begin at the Garden of Remembrance at 1pm and finish outside the Dáil on Molesworth Street/Kildare Street to bring our demands to the Irish government’s doorstep.
This month’s march will mark the 77th year of the ongoing Palestinian Nakba (‘Catasrophe’ in Arabic), which began with the forcible depopulation of Palestine in 1948 and continues to this day with the Gaza genocide.
We are honoured to be joined by our special guest speakers BDS Movement Coordinator Mahmoud Nawaja, and renowned Palestinian journalist and genocide survivor Abubaker Abed.
