The Communist Party of Ireland held a small, physically-distanced lunch time protest at the Colombian embassy in Dublin on Tuesday 11 May, in solidarity with indigenous communities, trade unionists and the wider working class of Colombia currently suffering from violent state repression. A letter of protest was handed into the embassy regarding the recent violent repressions, where a growing number of killings, mass arrests, and detentions have taken place, including the disappearance and sexual assault of many detainees.
