Palestinian flags were hung from Connolly Books on Saturday 15 May and a message of solidarity from the Communist Party of Ireland was read out. The message gave unequivocal support to the Palestinians’ right to resist, by whatever means necessary, the brutal murders carried out by Zionist military forces over the past week. The CPI condemns the Zionist, settler-colonial regime in Palestine and their blatant acts of genocide against the Palestinian people.
CPI members also attended demonstrations for Palestine in Dublin, Cork, and elsewhere. Hundreds of people have taken to the streets to voice their opposition to Zionist apartheid and to defend the rights of the Palestinian people.
